In the historic centre, close to everything
A maze of lanes, stairways and little squares, in a quiet area best enjoyed on foot. A car is handy for reaching the monasteries and mountains nearby.

The apartment is in the historic quarter and cannot be reached by car right to the door. There is no private parking: you park for free nearby and walk the last stretch through the lanes, with a few steps.

Some navigation apps suggest routes through the historic centre that are not suitable for cars. Set the recommended car park as your destination, not the apartment’s address.

If you’re travelling with bulky luggage or have reduced mobility, write to us before you leave so we can plan your arrival.

The keys are in a key safe: you receive the instructions before you arrive. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.

Subiaco is a village in the upper Aniene Valley, at the foot of the Simbruini Mountains. Here Saint Benedict lived as a hermit and founded his first monasteries, and here the river runs clear between rocks and woods.
